So I've been away from Newgrounds for a long time now ( doing great stuff I assure you ). But I did manage to give some time back to the community this past weekend.

I participated in the first Newgrounds Game Jam!
All participants were given 48 hours and 3 RANDOM teammates. At the end of the 48 hours, we were expected to have a game fitting the theme of 'Summer Heat.' I served as the programmer for Team Monkey (how appropriate) along with JordanD(artist), Rutger(artist), and FourSwordsKing(writer).

I was hesitant to join, because I was busy for 1 of the 2 days, but nathanielmulburn convinced me to give it a shot anyways. Well, I contributed my available 24 hours and this is what we made:

I'm very proud of what we accomplished in such a short timeframe.

I was hoping to leave you all with one last great game, but hope has finally given out.

I know I'll fade away unnoticed by most; but I will forever be thankful to the entire community. Equally to the programmers/animators who gladly spend their precious time just to make others giggle, and to all of the viewers who are willing to give a damn.

It's been an honor contributing to a community that has inspired me so much.

So, in my spare time I have very slowly begun to teach myself some great things. If I can manage to keep up a steady ( albeit slow ) pace, you might expect to see something from me sooner than expected.

With a bit of motivational encouragement, I might be able to turn this into a fun project with my good friend Jerm. I anticipate to have very little time to work on this, so I'm setting a distant deadline for myself: July 1, 2010
That's a little under 2 years from today.

This project will not be a web game. This may very well confirm the end of my days as a Flash developer.
Don't worry though, I will try my damnedest to make it widely available.

I really have nothing to show of myself as of now, but if I start to make some visible progress expect this News blog to contain updates. ( Probably shouldn't expect anything soon )

Haven't posted in a good while, this is long overdue.

Don't hold your breath for my next project, I've been pretty busy with school. I've been trying to manage for the past two years, but it just keeps getting harder to keep making Flash games.
It is very probable that I will stop making Flash games sometime soon

I'm focusing on school, so wish me luck; and let's hold on to some hope for some future flash games from me.

I worked on 2 music-inspired games for the the Rock Out game contest hosted by Newgrounds and Armor Games recently. I was EXTREMELY happy to discover that both of them were announced as winners!
